Job Overview The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) is seeking a part‑time (0.4EFT) fixed‑term Dietitian to commence 01 February 2026 for 12 months as part of a job‑share arrangement on Mondays and Tuesdays. The role involves providing high‑quality nutritional care to paediatric patients and their families across inpatient and outpatient settings, with clinical units including Oncology, HEN and other medical specialties. The position will include rotation on the weekend roster. Responsibilities Work as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure patient care is integrated and effective. Provide nutritional care to paediatric patients (inpatients and outpatients) and deliver nutritional support across a variety of specialist/medical units. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including food service and formula room staff, to ensure patient and ward needs are addressed effectively. Qualifications and Experience Eligibility for full Membership of Dietitians Australia. Eligibility for the Accredited Practising Dietitian Program. Minimum postgraduate degree: Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent. Minimum 2 years acute clinical paediatric experience. Other Requirements Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain. Valid Working with Children Check. Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain.Compliance with RCHs “Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure.
