CM Maintenance Manager - CQ – Regional Group Australia CM Repairs is seeking a CM Maintenance Manager - CQ to oversee the daily operation of repairs and maintenance and workshop environments for all quarry assets. The role will enhance day-to-day activities of the CM Plant and Fleet through strengthened structure, systems and processes to improve asset utilization, maintenance, downtime and R&M cost control, boosting return on capital. The position may require travel and overnight stays depending on workshop and quarry locations. Responsibilities Continuous improvement of safe work practices. Manage team of supervisors and team leaders, encouraging open communication and high performance. Implement strategies aligned with Maas Repairs strategic plan to support MGH company vision. Align all workshop environments with systems and processes. Liaise with quarry managers to manage repair schedules and workloads, reducing downtime for plant and equipment. Operate within workshop rules and regulations at all times. Implement strategies to continually improve culture and communication. Communicate daily with senior management, quarry managers, supervisors and team leaders to implement systems and processes that improve productivity and efficiencies. Report weekly and monthly to GM on workshop activities, budget planning, major asset repairs and workforce productivity. Required Skills And Experience Team leader with a positive, can‑do attitude. Strong communication skills, proven ability to communicate with a range of individuals. Excellent time‑management skills. Adaptability. Current driver’s licence. Fully qualified with at least 4 years’ experience as a qualified mechanic. Sound knowledge of heavy plant and equipment. Experience managing teams and workshops. Demonstrated ability to plan and work within budgets. Good computer skills. Outstanding work ethic and commitment to getting the job done. Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety.
