THE ROLE This role is 12 months Fixed-Term contract; Location : Narngulu Dry Plant Roster : 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday. Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to ensure the safety of staff and vehicles, and the timely dispatch of products from the warehouse. The key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to : Proactively drive and commit to company safety, environment, quality and training policies, practices and procedures in compliance with relevant legal and other requirements (LAOR) and certifications. Load GMA packaged product with Forklift. Promoting and adhering to GMA organisational values of Teamwork, Care, Trust and Excellence. Using GMA safety systems, including the relevant tools and documentation, such as Take 5, safe operating procedure (SOP) and job safety analysis (JSA) to meet GMA’s expectations. Attending all pre-start and toolbox meetings, and any other relevant meetings as required. Actively participating in processes directed at delivering HSEQ, and output expectations. Reporting incidents and areas of concern / workplace hazards in accordance with on-site reporting procedures. Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in work areas and safety of the warehouse. Performing pre-start inspections and reporting defects on forklifts. Carry out logistical and warehousing activities including product storage and loadout. Ensuring that paperwork is correctly filled, and data is faithfully recorded. Ensuring dispatched orders are marked with correct information and batch codes are correctly recorded. Ensuring that all truck drivers are breathalysed and inducted and have signed relevant documentation before loading. Repair, re-bagging or shrink wrapping of damaged product. Filling of gas bottles for forklifts. Actively participating in all training and verification of competency processes. Completing other tasks within training and capability as directed. Communicating with stakeholders on and off site via email and on the phone General admin tasks including printing packing slips and uploading documents ERP tasks including document uploads and stock movements ESSENTIAL / DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE High risk forklift ticket. Proven commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for self and others and complying with appropriate safety operating procedures. Proven ability to efficiently operate forklift in a safe and productive manner. Ability to understand mineral processing in a fixed plant environment. Sound interpersonal skills and communication skills including both oral and written. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team to achieve production and safety goals; or autonomously as required. Proven ability to follow instructions and deliver the intended outcome. Relevant experience with role-specific plant and equipment, essential. Relevant experience with MS suite, mainly MS Excel and Outlook Relevant experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite) #J-18808-Ljbffr
