We are looking for an experienced and proactive AV Technician to join our crew and support the delivery of outdoor productions with professionalism, creativity, and technical expertise. About the Role As an AV Technician at Be Productions, you will play a key role in preparing, installing, and operating audio, vision, and lighting systems for outdoor events. You’ll work closely with our producers, project managers, and technical leads to ensure every show is delivered to the highest standard. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role suited to someone who thrives onsite, loves problem‑solving, and enjoys working in a team environment. Key Responsibilities Event Preparation & Setup Prepare, test, and maintain AV equipment including speakers, consoles, microphones, lighting fixtures, LED screens, and vision systems. Assist with warehouse prep, vehicle loading, and logistics prior to events. Install and configure outdoor event setups including PA systems, lighting rigs, LED displays, vision switching, temporary infrastructure, and event power. Conduct pre‑show technical checks to ensure all systems are operating optimally. Onsite Event Operation Operate audio, lighting, or vision systems during live events in outdoor environments. Provide technical support throughout the event and resolve issues quickly and calmly under pressure. Work closely with Be Productions event leads, stage managers, and creatives to deliver seamless show execution. Interact professionally with clients, performers, and stakeholders, representing Be Productions onsite. Safety & Compliance Adhere to Be Productions’ safety procedures and all site‑specific requirements. Ensure all outdoor equipment setups are secured, weather‑protected, and risk‑assessed. Support safe cable management, rigging practices, and site bump‑in/out workflows. Post‑Event Process Assist with bump‑out, pack‑down, and returning equipment to warehouse condition. Report any faults, repairs, or maintenance requirements to the technical manager. Complete event documentation as required (equipment logs, reports, checklists). Skills & Experience Experience in live event AV (audio, lighting, or vision), ideally within outdoor or large‑format event environments. Strong understanding of AV signal flow and troubleshooting across audio, DMX, and video systems. Ability to work efficiently onsite, often under time pressure or changing conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically capable of safe manual handling and outdoor work. Experience with consoles and systems commonly used by Be Productions. Knowledge of event networking and IP‑based AV systems. Experience with temporary power for events. Relevant certifications (EWP, First Aid, White Card).
