Platinum Painting & Maintenance – Newcastle NSW Platinum Painting & Maintenance are seeking a talented Qualified Tradesman Painter to join our team in Newcastle. You will be responsible for providing high-quality painting services to our diverse range of residential and commercial clients. Key Responsibilities Interior & Exterior painting on residential, commercial and strata properties Meeting deadlines while maintaining high quality work Preparing surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, gapping, filling and priming to a high standard Applying paint, stains, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spraying equipment Experience with spray painting equipment is preferred but not required Mixing and matching colours to client specifications Performing minor repairs and maintenance on surfaces as needed Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment Requirements Qualified Tradesman Painter (cert 3 in Painting & Decorating at TAFE) Own tools Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work Positive attitude with a strong work ethic Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently or part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Permanent resident of Australia What we offer Above award wages Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunities for career advancement to leading hand Local work to the Newcastle area only About us Platinum Painting & Maintenance is a leading provider of painting services in the Newcastle area.
