Graduate to Intermediate level candidates encouraged to apply as with experienced field technicians & drillers. Full time position, subject to successful completion of probationary period. About the company Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne with our office in Ferntree Gully, we have been experiencing continued growth in our geotechnical services area. Servicing Melbourne and Regional Victoria. The role The role is primarily a field based position undertaking drilling and logging ofsoils for site classification/soil testing & geotechnical site investigation reports. The successful candidate will haveattention to detail and strong technical skills. Following a training period, the candidate must have proven their ability tosafely and effectively operate 4x4, truck,track mounted drill rigs and hand held equipment. The candidate must be a confident and safe road user as the position will require driving from site to site. Thus a valid driver's license is essential. Experience with or proficient knowledge of Victorian soils and geology highly desirable. Graduates welcome to apply. Training provided. Must have: Valid manual driver's license (MUST have) Safety first attitude Confident driver and operator of hydraulic equipment (drill rigs) Attention to detail Enthusiasm for the job Happy to work outdoors and travel on a daily basis Physically fit and able to use hand held equipment Application Applications should include resume and brief cover letter.
