Medical Receptionist – Part-Time (4 Days a Week, Growing to Full-Time) Location: Launceston, TAS Pay Rate: $27 – $30 per hour We’re on the lookout for a bright, organized, people-loving superstar to join our friendly team at Tasmania Imaging This is a part‑time role (4 days a week) – with the potential to move into full‑time. If you’ve got a knack for making people feel welcome, keeping things running smoothly, and staying calm in the occasional bit of beautiful chaos, you’ll fit right in. No medical experience? No problem, we’ll teach you everything you need to know – from our booking system to the fancy medical words. Job Description Greeting patients with a friendly face and a calm, confident vibe Answering phones – from appointment bookings to general enquiries Scheduling appointments to keep our day running like clockwork Taking payments and helping patients claim Medicare rebates Maintaining accurate and confidential records Keeping the reception area neat and welcoming Who We’re Looking For We’re not worried about experience – we’re after good energy, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
