Cook – Coppin Centre Melbourne Royal Freemasons LTD invites applications for the Cook role at our Coppin Centre in Melbourne. The opportunity We seek experienced and motivated cooks to join our team on a casual basis. In this role you’ll contribute to the delivery of nutritious, high‑quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, working as part of a dedicated hospitality team to ensure a safe, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals in accordance with menu plans, dietary guidelines, and individual resident requirements. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in line with the Food Safety Program. Oversee and support Food Services Assistants during meal preparation and service. Ensure kitchen equipment and storage areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition. Contribute to a positive dining experience by promoting warmth, respect, and quality. About You Relevant trade qualification or extensive experience as a cook (aged care or healthcare experience highly regarded). Sound understanding of food safety and HACCP principles. Strong organisational and time‑management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Requirements Mandatory valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or both) to work in aged care. All aged‑care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid‑19.
