Industrial Door Technician – dormakaba Australia & New Zealand THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY The role of an Industrial Door Technician will mainly involve Preventative Maintenance, Breakdown repairs, and some major works to Industrial Door Systems which includes gates, and roller shutter products. Experience in this industry is desirable; training and support are available for candidates with transferable skills such as auto electrical, electrician, fabrication, maintenance fitter or mechanic. We offer a 24/7 service to our customers and the option to be on our after‑hours roster on a rotational basis. A fully maintained and stocked vehicle, mobile phone, iPad and uniforms are supplied to assist you in undertaking your new role. Your Skills Current Driver's Licence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Mechanical knowledge. Product knowledge and diagnostic capabilities. Knowledge of electrical safety principles. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Other Desirable Qualifications Which Will Enhance Your Application Industry White Card Disconnect / Reconnect restricted electrical licence (S permit).
