About the role We?re seeking Fitting and Turning apprentices of all experience levels to join our growing team. You?ll work across SEQ sites (Brendale, Hemmant, Carole Park, Yatala, Rocklea, Morningside, Nerang) carrying out a mix of breakdowns, preventative maintenance, installs and shutdowns. This position will initially commence as a Trade Assistant role, to assess Cultural fit, with an intention to lead into an apprenticeship. ENAP take great pride in their apprenticeship program and are looking for passionate people to further their trade career. This is a great full-time opportunity for motivated individuals ready to take on a 4‑year trade apprenticeship and build skills for life. ENAP employ 20+ apprentices across all disciplines of our business (Carpenters, Fitters & Turners, Boilermakers and Sheetmetal) We value experience and enthusiasm equally. That?s why we take on apprentices of all ages ? from school leavers starting their careers to mature-age applicants looking for a new direction. As an Apprentice Fitter and Turner, you will: Work hands‑on with CNC and manual lathes, milling machines, and grinding equipment. Learn to repair and manufacture components for mining, food, manufacturing, chemical and materials handling industries. Be part of a supportive, high‑performing team that takes pride in quality, precision, and safety. Gain exposure to large‑scale engineering projects and specialised machining processes What you require to be eligible for the role: Willingness to complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade. Proactively seek opportunities to develop trade skills and knowledge. Actively participate in the business by contributing to improvement initiatives. Be an enthusiastic team player. Have a strong commitment to safety. Prior exposure to mechanical or engineering environments (through school or work experience) is highly regarded.
