We are looking for an experienced Dual registered Sonographer/Radiographer to join us in the Griffith Medical Imaging Department to provide a high-quality medical imaging service to MLHD patients to support the provision of optimal patient health outcomes. As a part time permanent and temporary relief contract this is the perfect opportunity to kick start your career in health within our supportive Radiology team. You will get the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and work across a range of modalities. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for: Performing a wide range of Medical Imaging examinations Providing and managing a safe environment for all patients, staff and the public Assisting with prioritising the workload with respect to the competing demands for the provision of medical imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients. Participating in the 24hrs/7day roster and on-call rosters to provide after-hours cover where and when acceptable Employment Type: Temporary Full Time or Part Time (until 1 November 2026) and Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Radiographer –Level 3 Grade 3 Remuneration: $140,812.22 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable) Hours Per Week: up to 35 Requisition ID: REQ Location: Griffith Base Hospital What MLHD offer: Make a Meaningful Impact – Play a vital role in delivering essential health services to our diverse and vibrant regional communities. Our ideal candidate will: Hold a tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging, with MRS registration to AHPRA under the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia. Hold a current NSW EPA Radiation Licence, Registration with ASAR and Current class C driver's licence Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with department managers and staff, other hospital staff, private referrers, contracted agencies, patients and family members. Show the ability to independently perform the full range of Medical Imaging procedures and appropriate interventional examinations in accordance with department requirements.
