The Position: As the Vehicle Detailer/Yard Person you will be responsible for all aspects of vehicle cleaning & preparation prior to customer delivery, transporting vehicles between sites for repairs, fuel runs, and other requirements essential to maintaining the presentation of both new and used car businesses. This role is pivotal in upholding the dealership’s high presentation standards, ensuring positive customer experiences, and maintaining the professional appearance of the dealership. As a Vehicle Detailer you will encounter daily challenges and have opportunities to show initiative. Role Responsibilities: Transport vehicles to the required locations. Ensure vehicle keys and books are handled and processed correctly. Ensure all trade plates are used and accounted for. Fuel vehicles as required. Liaise with dedicated Pre‑Delivery and Sales staff. Record and report all vehicle damage. Qualifications: Strong attention to detail. Manual driver’s licence with a good driving history. Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines. Team player with good work ethics. Previous detailing and maintenance experience is preferred but not essential. A manual driver’s licence is essential for this role.
