Your Role in Action Innovate and Fabricate – Utilize workshop machinery to manufacture engineering components, applying your fabrication skills to contribute to various projects. Keep Our Assets Running – Participate in preventative maintenance programs, troubleshoot equipment breakdowns, and assist with fault reporting and repairs to ensure optimal factory operations. Empower the Next Generation – Provide guidance and leadership to apprentices and trainees, defining tasks and performance targets while offering valuable on‑the‑job training and feedback. Collaborate for Success – Liaise with the Work Coordinator on costs, scheduling expenditures, and assist in assessing the economic life and performance of assets to drive continuous improvement. Document with Precision – Ensure all work orders and permits are accurately completed while maintaining timesheets and standard reports for seamless operations. Uphold Quality and Teamwork – Work within a collaborative environment, conduct inspections, identify problems, and implement improvements to ensure the highest quality standards. Your Winning Combination Our ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Fitting, along with a current Confined Space certificate, a valid Safe Working at Heights certificate, and a manual driver's license. If you have additional certificates, that's a plus But don't sweat it if you don't – we're here to help you learn and grow in your role.
