Kitchen Team Member – Kitchen Knifeskills & Kitchen Hand We’re looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who love being part of a buzzing kitchen team. Join us at Village Roadshow Theme Parks and help keep our kitchens running smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Pay & Availability – Kitchen Knifeskills: $32.35 per hour (casual). Kitchen Hand: $31.19 per hour (casual). Roles are available at any Village Roadshow Theme Park property as required, including weekends and nights. Key Responsibilities Work in a fast‑paced environment. Work at any Village Roadshow Theme Park property as required. Able to work on any day including weekends and nights. Kitchen Knifeskills – hands‑on in food prep and presentation. Deliver prepared food into the park prior to opening. Prepare raw food items in the Production Kitchen (dicing fruit, slicing vegetables and meats, cooking basic items). Make and package finished products such as assorted sandwiches, rolls, baguettes, fruit salads. Cook and plate in an à‑la‑côte environment when required. Follow workplace hygiene procedures and keep the kitchen clean and hygienic. Kitchen Hand – backbone of kitchen operations. Demonstrated cleaning experience is essential. Reliable transport required. What We’re Looking For Industry experience in high‑volume kitchen operations (advantage). Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and Food Safety program. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of customer dietary requirements such as food allergies and intolerances. A passion for your craft and high standards of food production. Availability for varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.
