Job Title: Flux Core Welders – Major TBM Project Location: Sydney NSW Contract Type: Casual Duration: 5–6 months (approx. November 2025 to March/April 2026) Job Description We are assembling a welding crew for a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) decommissioning project. This high‑performing team will work 12‑hour day and night shifts within an underground environment. The Roles Multiple welder positions for both day and night shifts (12 hours each) Roster: either 6 shifts out of every 8 days or 14 shifts out of every 21 days (7‑3‑7‑4) All welding performed underground with supplied respirators and fume extraction PPE supplied: welding jackets and three work shirts per team member Welding Test Scope 25 mm thick mild steel 1.2 mm MIG & Flux‑cored wire MIG root run, flux core fill, and cap Weld procedure: three butt welds (horizontal down hand, vertical up, overhead) and one fillet weld (overhead) What We’re Looking For Trade qualified (Cert III) welders preferred but not required Previous coded/ticketed welders encouraged Strong flux‑core welding experience in structural/heavy fabrication Ability to work safely underground White Card required; additional tickets advantageous Visa welders may be considered (subject to approval) Based in Sydney, Australia – No FIFO/DIDO What’s on Offer $52 ph + overtime + site allowance ($5 ph site allowance) 12‑hour shifts, long rosters, and consistent work through project duration Earn between $5 500 – $6 500 per week Opportunity to work on a landmark Sydney infrastructure project Full PPE and clothing supplied How to Apply If you are an experienced Flux Core Welder ready to take on this challenging and rewarding project, apply now to secure your place on this crew. #J-18808-Ljbffr
