Overview Salt has partnered with a global proprietary trading company that is looking for a C# Trading Systems Developer . You will join Futures & Options Team and will have the chance to work closely with traders and the firm’s top technologists. As a C# Developer you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and development of business-critical trading systems. We are looking for someone who has experience taking projects through the entire software development cycle from requirements gathering to production release. This is a permanent role with the office located in Sydney CBD. Responsibilities Analyze, design, and develop business-critical trading systems. Work through the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to production release. Collaborate with traders and technologists to deliver robust back-end solutions. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with C# development, with a focus on back-end development, OO design, multi-threading, performance, and profiling. Prior industry experience is essential. Experience in Microservices and Cloud Technologies (preferably Azure Service Fabric, Microsoft Orleans, Envoy Proxy, gRPC, Protobuf, Docker, Kubernetes, Octopus Deploy and ELK Stack). Knowledge of or experience in trading, derivatives, risk, pricing is highly regarded. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline.
