1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants We’re looking for a skilled Solutions Architect based in Sydney to design and deliver high‑quality business solutions that support strategic goals, align with enterprise standards, and integrate seamlessly across systems and technologies. A key focus of this role is shaping robust application architecture and developing solutions using modern low‑code platforms, including Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, and OutSystems. Providing technical advice to both group‑level delivery and regional support teams, you will stay ahead of emerging technologies and play a pivotal role in driving organisational technological advancement and digital transformation. Key Responsibilities Bring extensive experience and best practice for Solution Architecture to enable the delivery of quality outcomes that align with our architecture principles and support long‑term business objectives. Provide support to uplift architecture practice, including developing and maintaining architecture artifacts such as standards, reference architecture, templates, and models. Creating and maintaining quality architectural documents to support project delivery. Formulate and implement end‑to‑end architecture designs covering all aspects of a solution (Business, Application, Data, integration, Network, Infra, Security and Operational support). Provide architectural guidance to development teams (global and regional). Identify and document / call out dependencies with other projects / systems and solution risk. Assess business impact with every technical choice made. Create a mock‑up/demo to showcase the proposed solution architecture. Assess and recommend technologies to ensure appropriate technology choices that create efficiencies, reduce and eliminate technology debt. Champion architecture governance and security measures across all systems. Provide architectural direction throughout the project process. Conduct architecture review on existing systems and propose improved and sustainable architecture. Create standards, patterns and best practices. Build and manage relationships with business and technology stakeholders. Collaborate with product, technology and business leadership to design end‑to‑end solutions that enhance business user experience. Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Engage and manage external vendors for design, architecture and development work. Provide mentorship to other team members in their professional growth within the architecture domain. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions and workshops to disseminate best practices and recent advancements. Guide cross‑functional teams through complex projects, ensuring alignment with architectural standards. Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. Communicate and articulate technical solutions to different stakeholders. Conduct workshops with business analysts to understand business requirements. Deliver quality documentation including conceptual architecture paper, high‑level design paper, decision paper, patterns and technology standards. Knowledge and Experience 8+ years in technology solution delivery, including at least 4 years in a dedicated solution architecture role. Experience designing and implementing solutions using cloud and low‑code platforms. Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field. Certifications such as TOGAF, cloud or integration architecture are an advantage. Strong knowledge across architectural disciplines and complex technology environments. Proficient in low‑code platforms (e.g., Power Platform), cloud technologies (especially Azure), and modern engineering practices. Experience with agile and hybrid delivery methodologies. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise in fast‑moving environments. Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
