Specialising in preventative care, treatment and rehabilitation for a range of ailments, injuries and conditions, we have a variety of services available at our specialist clinics. Our services include orthopaedic surgery, physiotherapy, sports doctors, podiatry, massage, exercise physiology, dietitian, clinical pilates and a rehabilitation gym. About the role Our physiotherapy team is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed physiotherapist, who has a special interest in sports medicine, orthopaedics and regional healthcare. At sportsmed, we believe in providing the best treatment possible in a supportive team environment, and by delivering quality physiotherapy and patient care you will quickly build a sustainable client base. This is a casual position supporting a FIFO role to Broken Hill for 1‑2 weeks (Monday to Friday) each month, along with casual work at Burnside Hospital, Stepney and coverage at our metropolitan clinics. Job responsibilities Taking a thorough case history, assessing clients, creating a best practice treatment plan, and delivering quality physiotherapy treatment Conducting employment screens Continued professional education – keeping up to date with new techniques and continual learning Skills and experience Bachelor of Physiotherapy Clinical experience preferred Current professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance cover First Aid certificate All candidates must hold a current Working with Children Certificate. Successful candidates must present an original certificate or be prepared to acquire one prior to commencement.
