Double Bay, New South Wales Full-time Description Salary up to $121,405.84 per annum plus superannuation. 35 hours per week with a three weekly RDO, and potential to work from home 1 day per 3-week roster Join a state-of-the‑art library service based in Double Bay, walking distance from Edgecliff Train Station About The Role We have an exciting opportunity available at Woollahra Libraries for a creative and dynamic leader for our Library Events & Programs Team on a permanent, full‑time basis. In this role you will lead a team of Library Community Engagement Officers in the delivery of inspiring library events and programmes that support diverse groups in the community and foster lifelong learning in our beautiful library spaces located in Double Bay, Paddington and Watsons Bay. You will also support the Home Library Service and Volunteer Program Supervisor to ensure the delivery of a successful Home Library Service and a mutually beneficial volunteer programme. A key part of your role will be to coordinate the delivery of signature events and programmes including but not limited to outreach events (eg Double Bay Festival) and the Woollahra Digital Literary Award. About You We are looking for a professional that embraces internal and external partnerships and always looks for opportunities for continuous improvement. You thrive in fast paced work environment and are committed to providing excellent customer service. You are a high achiever with: Tertiary qualifications in Events Management, Library and Information Studies or Knowledge Management or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in developing and managing a variety of events and programmes for the community within a cultural institution. Demonstrated skills and experience in leading a small team, with experience in implementing change. Proven project management and budget management experience. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing and social media, with the ability to effectively liaise, consult and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Competency in all MS office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher. Commitment to providing excellent customer service. Ability to work independently and contribute to a larger team. Current Working with Children check. Current C Class Drivers Licence.
