Principal Enterprise Architect – SAP Customer Services & Delivery What You’ll Do As a Principal Enterprise Architect, you will develop a comprehensive enterprise architecture model for our customers, aligning with their enterprise goals, and collaborate with virtual account teams (VAT) as a transformation partner. Your responsibilities include: Guide customers through their cloud journey, focusing on adopting and deriving solutions. Provide enterprise architecture guidance using the RISE with SAP methodology and Clean Core principles. Act as the Transformation Partner for the CIO or other CxO, driving architecture effectiveness. Support adoption by identifying and mitigating technical adoption risks. Drive value realization through solution adoption and consumption of capabilities. Develop a tangible enterprise-level success plan, monitor and validate KPIs, and enable value-driven business transformation. Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring secure, reliable, and flexible cloud environments for mission‑critical processes. Through governance, involve stakeholders inside and outside the customer organization to enhance value realization. Align customers and partners with SAP’s Clean Core strategy, accelerate BTP adoption, and promote SAP best practices. What You Bring Experience delivering enterprise business transformation projects and aligning customer priorities with target architecture and roadmap. In-depth knowledge of the SAP Solution Portfolio and Enterprise Architecture Framework (North Star). Experience with BTP components (application development, automation, data & analytics, integration, AI) and practical experience with S/4HANA applications. Strong understanding of Cloud & Clean Core Strategy, familiarity with SAP LeanIX, Signavio, and Cloud ALM. Knowledge of SAP’s Business AI roadmap, including AI‑driven use cases. Expertise in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies. Understanding of SAP’s value framework, value drivers, and business case creation. Must‑Have Requirements 10+ years in customer‑facing roles (e.g., Program Manager, Architect) with end‑to‑end architectural design for hybrid landscapes. Extensive knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and BTP services. Proficiency in SAP Integration and Extensibility Advisory Methodologies and Clean Core principles. Technical or functional knowledge of S/4HANA. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills in English at senior management and C‑level. Strategic thinking, continuous learning, and strong business acumen. Nice‑to‑Have Requirements Knowledge of on‑premise and corresponding SAP cloud solutions.
