As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include: Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes. Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospital. Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licensed 122‑bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including general surgery, orthopaedics, gynaecology, ophthalmology, plastic and reconstructive, urology, gastroenterology and ENT, and a cardiac catheter laboratory. In February 2021, a purpose‑built 18‑bed inpatient Mental Health & AoD Unit, The Darwin Clinic, opened a new service for patients in the Northern Territory. It also incorporates a dedicated day rehabilitation programme. Our world‑class private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote Aboriginal communities and even offshore. Come and be the difference in our patient's lives. Selection Criteria: Degree in Physiotherapy. Current AHPRA registration before commencement. Customer‑focused service delivery. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete allocated tasks (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
