About the role and where you will be working: Germanus Kent House (Broome, WA) was built in 2008 and has all the features of a modern, state of the art facility. We can support up to 55 residents and are conveniently located close to the shops, chemist, bank, local medical center & hospital. You’ll be part of a dedicated and close-knit team that provides tailored care that can be adjusted to meet our clients’ changing needs. As a valued team member, and leader, you’ll be drawing upon your clinical knowledge to ensure that our residents receive the best clinical care from nursing and care staff. This position is a permanent full time position. We’ll also be asking you to: Support, coordinate and mentor a small team of nurses & health care workers. Provide clinical leadership, assess & develop capability of nursing staff. Coordinate & oversee admissions, and clinical documentation. Prepare budgets & support cost control initiatives. Participate in quality improvement programs. Review & update relevant policies / procedures. Consult with SCC WA clinical leads & external medical practitioners to ensure best outcomes for our clients. To be considered for this role, you’ll need: Current AHPRA registration. Current Clinical Nursing skills. Experience in Aged Care. Confidence to act in Facility Manager role as required. Proven track record in leading & driving quality clinical outcomes.
