St Vincent's Physiotherapy and Day Rehabilitation – Lismore NSW Position Overview Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services as part of a multi‑disciplinary team servicing St Vincent's Hospital and the Lismore/Northern Rivers community. This may include, but is not limited to, inpatient acute and medical services, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient day rehabilitation programmes, hydrotherapy and outpatient services. Position Title : Physiotherapist Type of Employment : Full Time Reporting To : Practice Principal - Corey Jenkins Liaison : Patients, Clinical Staff, Referring Doctors and Suppliers Salary Range : As per award rate based on qualification and experience Other benefits : Workers Compensation, Professional Development Assistance Organisational Overview St Vincent's Private Physiotherapy service was established in 1999 to provide contracted physiotherapy services to inpatients at St Vincent's Hospital, Lismore. The practice is located onsite of the hospital grounds. The practice expanded in June 2008 to include the provision of outpatient Physiotherapy services, Aquatic physiotherapy and Day Rehabilitation programmes in the newly refurbished gym located next to the hydrotherapy pool. As of November 2022 it is known as St Vincent's Physiotherapy and Day Rehabilitation and continues to provide excellent patient‑centred care to Lismore and surrounding areas. We have added to our service to include Outpatient Exercise Physiology and the GLA:D programme. St Vincent's Physiotherapy and Day Rehabilitation is located in Lismore, 30‑45 minutes from the beautiful beach side towns of Byron Bay, Bangalow, Lennox Head and Ballina. Purpose of the Position The purpose of this position is to join our dedicated team of Allied Health professionals including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants. You will provide a full range of physiotherapy services to clients of the practice in a hospital setting. This includes post operative treatment in orthopaedic and general surgical conditions, implementation and evaluation of effective strategies and programmes for a wide range of conditions within the local community. The quality of the overall client experience relies heavily on this position due to its service focus. The outcomes delivered will impact on whether clients choose to return to the practice and thus are an important aspect of the business. Key Selection Criteria Essential Education Qualifications acceptable for registration in New South Wales. Evidence of postgraduate professional development. General Demonstrated commitment to high professional standards Demonstrated empathy for the needs of patients Excellent communication skills Excellent time management and prioritisation skills The ability to adapt and work in our different areas of service A strong customer service focus The ability to assess problems and develop creative solutions The ability to function independently and within a team Ability to use computer‑based applications.
