Director, Australia – Estimator Our client is a well-established, market‑leading national civil contractor looking for an experienced and dedicated senior estimator to join their growing business. About the Company Market leading and growing civil, mining & earthworks national contracting business Challenging and varied projects from $5m up to $40m+, excellent pipeline Excellent culture and progression opportunities, blue‑chip clients Project Types Demolition, bulk earthworks, excavation, retention, piling, foundations Ground improvement, soft & hard landscaping, site remediation & rehabilitation Typical values from $2.5m to $40m+ Candidate experience can be in Civil, Mining, Bulk Earthworks or a mix, flexible on background. Ideally having worked on projects circa $10m or larger. Responsibilities (highlighted) Working on tenders Coordinating internal and external resources Preparation and submission of tenders Evaluate / review tender and estimating process for cost effectiveness Tender negotiations Coordinate tender handover to project team Prepare budgets based on tender submission Assess and price contract variation orders Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants Qualifications & Requirements Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar 5 – 10+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+ Proven understanding of construction with a hands‑on approach Effective problem‑solving abilities High level of commercial acumen High level of organisation and time‑management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills If you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click on “Apply” to submit your resume.
