Manager Cyber Security Threat

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of cyber security at Insignia Financial, where security is fundamental to everything we do. As a key team member, you'll lead the proactive identification and mitigation of threats, analysing cyber intelligence and coordinating risk-based remediation. Collaborate on threat hunting and vulnerability validation to ensure a robust security posture and minimize cyber-attack exposure.
The opportunity to join our team This is a dynamic role where you'll lead the charge in vulnerability and patch management across Insignia Financial's vast tech landscape. Your daily tasks will involve:
Lead strategic transformation, embedding robust threat and vulnerability management capability across the organisationChampion secure-by-design, contextualise threat and vulnerability information into actionable insightsDrive innovative programs prioritising continuous threat exposure managementDevelop and implement processes for scanning, assessing, contextualising, prioritising, and remediating vulnerabilitiesActively monitor threat intelligence to spot emerging risks and collaborate with various teams to drive a risk-based approach to remediationEnsure our security posture remains rock-solid by effectively communicating threat information and remediation plans to all stakeholdersLead and mentor a high-performing team of cyber security experts, encouraging a culture of continuous learning and collaborationWhat you will bring We're looking for someone with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex threat and vulnerability management programs. To be successful in this role you will have:
The ability to analyse threat intelligence, pinpoint relevant threats, and translate them into actionable insightsA strong grasp of risk management helps you assess and prioritise vulnerabilities based on impact and exploitabilityWell-versed experience in operating systems, networking protocols, application security, and cloud securityFamiliarity with vulnerability scanning tools, databases, and exploit frameworks like CVSS and CVEExcellent communication skills which, allow you to collaborate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders and convey complex technical information clearly to ensure remedial action is takenUp-to-date knowledge of the latest cyber threats, industry best practices and relevant security frameworksRelevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirableTo Apply Applicants will be required to provide evidence of their eligibility to work in Australia, and at a minimum be required to undertake police and basic credit checks as a condition of employment.
