Fixed Plant Fitter / Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner / Machinist $55-67ph + Super on all hours worked & work Ute and fuel card supplied Join the team at Madson Mining Maintenance Madson Mining Maintenance is a Mining Maintenance Contracting Company based in Port Hedland assisting our Clients in maintaining Ship Loading and Stock yard equipment and infrastructure. The bulk of our work consists of providing Shift Coverage / Back Fill Labour, Shut Down Crews, Fabrication and Welding, and Machining. Our main Client base is Pilbara Ports Authority, Fortescue Metals Group, BHP and QUBE, along with some smaller local companies. With a workforce made up of Fitters, Boiler Maker Welders, Trade Assistants and Apprentices, currently we have 35 employees who either live here in Port Hedland or are employed on a FIFO basis. We are currently looking for applications of interest for the following positions working in Port Hedland carrying out maintenance of Stock Yard and Ship Loading equipment: Fixed Plant Fitter / Mechanical Fitter Fitter & Turner / Machinist The following long term opportunities are on offer: FIFO – 12 days on / 9 days off (Port Hedland residential – Preferred) FIFO – 19 days on / 9 days off (Perth) To be considered for one of the above opportunities, you will need to have: Relevant trade qualifications and a solid mechanical background Australian Citizenship / Residency with full working rights A current WA Drivers Licence Availability to start within 3 weeks of applying A strong work ethic and reliability The ability to work in a team environment A good level of physical fitness (able to work 12 hours conducting strenuous activities) You must also be able to pass a police clearance check to obtain an MSIC card. An attractive hourly rate will be offered to the successful candidates ($55.00 – $67.00 ph + Super on all hours worked) based on experience.
