The role supports the Facility Nurse Manager in creating an environment that facilitates learning and development of professional standards of practice to achieve people‑focused quality care. The Welcome Experience NSW Government Selection Criteria Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Management or related fields, or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience in clinical management Demonstrated capacity to manage frontline clinical services and to use a range of communication strategies, including mediation and consultation skills Experience assessing and supervising staff competence and performance, identifying strengths and limitations, and implementing continuous quality improvementqualities, policies and procedures Proven ability to contribute to the implementation of nursing service plans, organisational change processes, allocate and manage nursing resources, and set nursing priorities Experience and ability in utilizing and sharing knowledge and skills relating to nursing practice with a commitment to ongoing professional development Evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to drive/travel as required, including long distances Additional Information This is a Category A position.
