Key Responsibilities for This Role Lead and manage engineering aspects of DTMR road projects, including slope stabilisation, earthworks, drainage, and pavement construction. Coordinate with site supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of works. Oversee and review project documentation including ITPs, quality assurance records, and progress reports. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Liaise with DTMR representatives and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication. Identify and mitigate project risks, particularly those related to geotechnical and slope stability challenges. Support environmental and safety compliance across all project phases. Key Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience in civil engineering, specifically in DTMR road infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience in slope stabilisation, ground improvement, or works of similar nature. Strong understanding of DTMR specifications, standards, and project delivery frameworks. Understanding of Quality, Work Health & Safety and environmental management plans and ability to assist with compliance on a project basis. Experience with managing resources in accordance with a construction program and daily activities. Deliver quality assurance as per contractual requirements. Ensure onsite testing and relevant project documentation is collated and stored correctly. Interpret project drawings and provide technical recommendations to the project team. Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders. Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications. Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree as recognised by Engineers Australia.
