About the role We have a current vacancy for an experienced Casual Dental Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional environment. Responsibilities Assisting dentists during dental procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and ensuring the work area is clean and organised. Sterilising and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Preparing treatment rooms by stocking supplies and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are readily available. Greeting and welcoming patients, providing excellent customer service and answering any questions they may have. About You Completed a Dental Assisting qualification or have equivalent relevant experience. Access to reliable transport. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to put patients at ease. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining strict infection control standards. Proficiency in using dental equipment and software. A friendly, team‑oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team. Flexibility to work a casual schedule, including evenings and weekends as required.
