Undergraduate Accountant Part-Time 12 months Maximum-Term 2 positions available $56080 plus 15% superannuation ActewAGL Finance is seeking Expressions of Interest for enthusiastic and highly motivated undergraduate students interested in undertaking part time work for us here in Canberra while completing their studies. Successful candidates will gain a wide variety of practical experience across the disciplines of Financial Control Management and Financial Accounting. This is a great opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge from your studies across a wide range of Finance related tasks in a large corporate organisation committed to serving the local community with clean renewable energy. About you We are looking for enthusiastic self-starters that : are currently undertaking a degree in a Commerce discipline i.e. Accounting Finance or Economics; have completed at least their first year of study; have obtained at least a credit average across all completed subjects; have necessary documentation confirming Australian work rights; are available on a part time basis equating to 2 to 3 days per week; possess demonstrated high-level communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrate a willingness to adapt and learn across a number of Finance related tasks. Key skills and attributes include : Clear Communication : Ability to communicate effectively with the Finance team and other departments both in writing and verbally. Analytical Mindset : Comfortable working with numbers interpreting data and identifying patterns or inconsistencies. Attention to Detail : Careful and thorough when reviewing financial information and documentation. Proactive Engagement : Confident in reaching out to stakeholders to gather information ask questions and validate data.
