We have a great opportunity for a Heavy Duty Fitter Supervisor to join our team working on Lucky Bay mine site, Day Shift FIFO from Perth. The mine has a 30 year + mine life and is located within a thirty minute drive from Kalbarri township. This is a great opportunity to join an innovative company at the forefront of the Mining industry and gain valuable experience with ongoing work. Key responsibilities include : Allocate & ensure works are completed timely and to a standard on company owned equipment. Oversee the cleanliness of maintenance and site facilities and keep in a well organised manner. Ensure that work is done in a safe manner and that safety is talked about and observed by all employees. Ensure you lead and allocate work on specific items of equipment, in line with the priority of the item of equipment required onsite. Ability to produce a list of work that is required on each machine, with assistance from the fitters. Produce the requisitions for parts for the workshop requirements, in advance of when they are required. Be responsible for the timekeeping and productivity of your team. The ability to supervise people and provide sound leadership and direction to the team. Supervise and coordinate any 3rd party specialist providers engaged to carry out repairs to company equipment. Use Pronto to ensure all plant and equipment records are maintained including location, operating data (hours / km), service history, etc. Progress all requests for plant and equipment as approved for project requirements. Work with company Asset Manager and project team to arrange transport of plant and equipment being delivered to various sites and returned back to Newman yard. Qualifications and skills Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. Relevant trade qualifications i.e. Heavy Diesel Fitting. Current C Class Drivers licence, HR Licence advantageous.
