$200,000 - $255,000 p.a. + Superannuation + Bonus Head of Tax $200K-$255K + Super + Car Allowance + 15% STI Brisbane / Relocation Support Available for interstate applicants This role is a genuine step up for an experienced Tax professional who wants to move beyond day-to-day compliance and into the strategic centre of a global business. You'll be working directly with senior executives, influencing commercial decisions, and shaping how the business is structured and operates, not just signing off tax work. You’ll lead a capable tax team within a 40+-person Finance division and join a leadership group that values clarity, accountability, and collaboration. The Brisbane operation is well-regarded internally, with consistently high engagement scores and strong cross‑functional relationships. You'll also have access to excellent onboarding and ongoing support, ensuring you're set up for success from day one. Why this role Strategic Influence: Direct exposure to the Board, C‑Suite, and senior leaders. You'll provide commercial advice on major transactions, structuring, and large‑scale projects. Global Environment: Work within a multinational group known for technical expertise and innovation. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a six‑person tax team (four direct reports) within a high‑performing division. Cross‑Functional Exposure: Partner with Finance, Operations, and international teams on complex, commercially significant work. Strong Package & Flexibility: Market‑leading salary + incentives, plus 2 days WFH post‑probation. What you’ll do Leading direct and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions Providing strategic tax and transfer pricing advice Supporting transactions, structuring, and contractual reviews Overseeing tax accounting, reporting, and policy Managing audits and regulatory engagement Monitoring tax risk and managing transfer pricing obligations Advising senior leadership and contributing to board reporting Supporting cross‑border projects and complex commercial matters Delivering training and guidance to key stakeholders What you’ll bring Degree qualified and CA/CPA, ideally with Tax Institute / AICD / Governance Institute membership Strong technical Australian tax experience, with proven leadership capability Experience in a large corporate, multinational, or similar senior tax environment A commercial mindset and the ability to explain tax implications clearly to senior stakeholders If you’re looking for a senior role where tax genuinely shapes business decisions, not just compliance, this is the type of opportunity that moves your career forward. #J-18808-Ljbffr
