As General Manager – Operations, you’ll be the primary driver of service delivery excellence, operational profitability, customer satisfaction, quality assurance, and field productivity. Your leadership directly impacts revenue conversion, profitable execution, fleet readiness, and customer outcomes. The Opportunity This is a career-defining platform role for an operations leader ready to build a world‑class field service organisation. You’ll design and optimise the end‑to‑end model that powers Australia's fastest‑growing trade services network, scaling our field force to 1,000 technicians over 3 years. What You’ll Lead Technician operations (sales support, customer sales, installation teams) Fleet, vehicles, equipment & supplies Quality, safety & compliance adherence Operational administration performance You’ll also work cross‑functionally with Growth, Service, and corporate executives to create a cohesive operational engine. What You’ll Build & Own A scalable managerial hierarchy within Operations Field productivity and utilisation uplift Standardised processes across all trades & geographies Automation & technology adoption Fleet optimisation and cost control High‑integrity compliance systems Exceptional customer outcomes About You You are a structured, decisive, and disciplined operator who thrives on complexity. You love precision, repeatability, and building systems that scale. You’re data‑driven, safety‑minded, and process‑obsessed — with a bias for measurable improvement in speed, cost, and quality. 10+ years senior operations leadership Multi‑site, field‑based, industrial, or military background Managed operational teams of 200–2,000 staff Deep experience in lean, logistics, and supply chain Demonstrated success implementing operational technology Proven ability to scale teams rapidly Executive authority to redesign a national operation Career scale few organisations can offer Brand momentum and industry disruption Room to build something enduring Backing from a high‑growth, tech‑enabled group Ready to Build the Southern Hemisphere’s Most Professional Field‑Service Operation?
