Join a friendly team at SCF Interiors as a Joiner. Responsible for cutting, shaping, and fitting solid surface parts for various applications. We are a unique company specialising in quality interior solid surface products, we are seeking an experienced joiner to join our team. This is a permanent full time position with occasional overtime, paying above award rates with a friendly team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and fitting board & solid surface parts in our workshop to create various residential & commercial applications for kitchens, bathrooms, Hospitality, Retail, Medical, office & Marine ready for installation. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of woodworking techniques. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and analyse drawings and specifications to determine the materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures. Select and order appropriate boards and materials, and prepare layouts. Cut materials accurately and assemble shaped parts. Assemble prepared solid surface & board to form structures and fittings ready for installation. Repair existing fittings and work with materials such as plastic laminates, perspex, and metals. Qualifications and Skills: At least two years of on-the-job training or relevant experience. Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials. Installations and knowledge in the kitchen/joinery industry. Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills A manual drivers license is essential for the role Ability to work under pressure Ability to work as part of team Ability to work overtime if required Ability to follow instruction Ability to lift manually This role is a great opportunity for a person who is interested in pursuing a career in the specialist industry of solid surface and wanting to take on a role as either a employee.
