Director, Information And Business Solutions Classification: Senior Officer Grade B Salary: $146,705 - $164,506 plus superannuation Position No: 41762 Directorate: Justice and Community Safety Advertised (Gazettal date): 17 November 2025 3*** Closes: 01 December 2025 Details: A career opportunity has arisen in ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) for an experienced, highly motivated, career-oriented person to temporarily fill the position of Director, Information and Business Solutions, within Corporate Services. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will lead a small team to implement, maintain, and protect all Information and Communication Technology (ICT) needs across ACTCS. Responsibilities include providing high‑quality strategic advice, briefings, reports and written material relating to information and business systems portfolios for the Commissioner, Executive Team and other stakeholders; engaging in critical thinking and problem‑solving, including the identification and management of risk in relation to information, security and business solutions across ACTCS; liaising with internal and external stakeholders to investigate business process improvements and implement appropriate technological solutions to meet existing and anticipated business system needs of ACTCS; and managing all financial, staff and contractor resources associated with the information and business systems portfolio. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications and/or 5+ years of progressively responsible ICT experience for a major organisation are highly desirable. Additional Requirements: Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 is required. Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of six months from 21 January 2026 until 20 July 2026.
