Interaction Designer Pinpoint Talent’s federal government client is seeking an Interaction Designer to support a major national data initiative. This role will contribute to a data strategy project by designing an interactive dashboard that visualises workforce insights drawn from ABS PLIDA and Student Outcomes Survey data. Australia-wide placements available 6 month contract Hybrid arrangement The role involves shaping design concepts using Figma, maintaining a consistent UI Kit, developing dashboard prototypes, conducting user testing and iterating based on feedback. It also requires preparing technical documentation, supporting handover activities and aligning the product to government accessibility and design standards. Applicants should have demonstrated experience using data insights to guide design decisions, experience working within government or regulated environments and strong capability in modern design tools. Knowledge of the Australian VET (Vocational Education & Training) sector and its data landscape is beneficial.
