Based in Victoria's picturesque Mornington Peninsula, Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door has a relaxed yet sophisticated dining room with spectacular panoramic vineyard views. We create exceptional food and wine experiences focusing on local produce that are seasonal and sustainable to showcase our wines. The restaurant operates Wednesday to Sunday each week for lunch. Friday and Saturday night we also do dinner. Cellar Door is open from 11am each of these days. About the role We are looking to expand our small restaurant team by bringing on a new front of house member. We are offering a part-time role with 15-30 hours available per week for successful candidates. Management work closely with staff to provide shifts that suit their lifestyle and current commitments. We pride ourselves on offering an exceptional dining experience for each guests that comes through our doors and require someone with a passion to uphold these standards and values. We require outgoing staff with a strong work ethic, pride in their service and the desire to learn about the food and wine we offer our guests. The opportunity for a role which extends into our Cellar Door will certainly be there for the right candidate. We are reviewing applications from those at both an introductory and experienced hospitality level with training provided for all successful introductory candidates. The successful candidates will receive: above award-level pay, super contributions, annual leave and tips detailed training and guidance on our service model and expectations an opportunity for growth and development within our industry discounts on our food & wine For this role you will have: Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) a strong work ethic and desire to help out your FOH team members time management, prioritisation skills and initiative time spent behind a coffee machine - this would be a bonus an interest in good wine, good food and providing good service to our customers.
