These roles require a detail-oriented approach to geological data compilation and validation, supporting the development of critical national datasets that inform future geological models and resource mapping activities. Successful candidates will work within a hybrid team environment, contributing to data management tasks that underpin Australia’s transition to a low-carbon future through responsible resource development and critical minerals discovery. Key Responsibilities Compile and standardise data from structured and unstructured geological reports, spreadsheets and datasets into formats suitable for digital analysis. Apply geoscientific judgement to classifications in mineral systems, stratigraphy, geochronology and/or geophysics based on defined standards. Enter and curate records across multiple geoscience domains (e.g. samples, boreholes, geochemistry, geophysics, geochronology). Conduct QA/QC reviews to ensure data accuracy and integrity within enterprise geoscience databases. Liaise with subject-matter experts to validate outputs and meet project timeframes. Geoscience qualifications or background , with at least five years of relevant industry experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to data driven geoscience tasks. Demonstrated team collaboration and communication skills , working effectively with diverse stakeholders. Proven attention to detail and methodical approach to data entry and validation. Familiarity with coding languages and data tools (Python, R, SQL or similar). Experience with data management applications or scientific databases in geoscience or environmental domains.
