Training and Development Officer Position Number: 82/25 Permanent, Full time ECTARC Training Services - Port Kembla ECTARC Training Services, awarded the 2022 NSW Large training provider of the year, is a leading, dynamic, registered training organisation that specialises in early childhood training and professional development across Australia. We are seeking an excellent, positive communicator to work as a Training and Development Officer in a passionate and capable team that is committed to supporting and enriching the educational and employment outcomes of our students. In this role you will work collaboratively to train and support students studying early childhood and school aged education and care qualifications and present professional development programs across NSW. Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood (or equivalent) or CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment 5 years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven time management, administrative and computer skills Ability to conduct training and assessment visits throughout NSW as required Working towards a degree in early childhood education (if not already held) Experience working as a trainer and assessor in the VET sector Qualifications and experience in school aged education and care Current Working with Children’s Check Experience presenting professional development to teams What we offer Above award wages Discount on childcare fees for staff’s children enrolled in our quality services Paid parental leave – 6 weeks top‑up Annual ECTARC leave day and 2-3 weeks end‑of‑year closure period Wellness program including access to our EAP for you and your family Inclusive work environment EC Management team provides coaching, mentoring and support Two annual planning days and opportunities to join organisational network meetings Paid professional learning via ECTARC’s online learning platform and access to internal and external training and conferences Support for further study and qualifications Opportunities for career advancement across our early childhood education and training services We have a comprehensive induction process to ensure your ongoing success working at ECTARC.
