B1.3 LICENSED AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERS - HELICOPTERS Auriga Aviation is seeking experienced and suitably qualified B1.3 Helicopter Engineers with H135 Classic and H135 Helionix ratings to join our Engineering team on a fixed-term 6-month contract . ABOUT AURIGA AVIATION Auriga Aviation has established itself as the industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia, operating a modern fleet of Airbus H135, H145 and H125 (AS350) helicopters. Auriga Aviation conducts 24/7/365 operations primarily for maritime industry clients in Gladstone, Hay Point, Mackay, Newcastle, Karratha and Port Hedland. ROLE DESCRIPTION The successful applicant will have a high standard of technical skills and knowledge to support and ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet of Airbus helicopters. This role is touring out of the Karratha base and is a 6-month fixed-term contract . Work at other bases may also be required from time to time. Auriga Aviation has a collaborative team of engineers and pilots at our operational bases who work together to coordinate and deliver quality services to our clients. Safety and dispatch reliability are key metrics of our engineering performance. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE To be considered for the role, you will be an Australian CASA-licensed LAME with relevant experience and the following qualifications: Airbus H145 airframe and engine ratings PWC 200 engine series Auriga Aviation also values behavioral competencies such as adaptability, attention to detail, confidence, customer service orientation, integrity, interpersonal effectiveness, proactivity, problem-solving, safety orientation, self-control and teamwork. Engineers are required to hold an ASIC and MSIC for the duration of their employment and may be subject to DAMP testing. Applicants must be able to live and work in Australia and either be willing to relocate for a resident role, or tour from an agreed capital/major regional airport for a touring role.
