Our team of talented Paediatric Speech Pathologists provide service to children and youth aged 0‑12 years who may be demonstrating delays or difficulties with their development including speech, language, feeding and social skills. About the role We are currently seeking Paediatric Speech Pathologists for Full Time and Part Time positions. We offer a hybrid model of working which is a combination of working onsite in our therapy spaces (Berwick, Narre Warren, Cranbourne and Pakenham), meeting with consumers in their natural surroundings or completing some admin tasks from home. Responsibilities Deliver a broad range of evidence‑informed intervention strategies, standardised assessments and parent training to increase communication and active participation in social and educational settings for children. Undertake face‑to‑face consultation and relationship building in natural environments, schools and kindergartens as well as our modern office facilities and therapy spaces. Liaise and collaborate with a trans‑disciplinary team to design and deliver comprehensive support plans. Provide key worker support and advice to families and children in relation to speaking, listening, understanding language, fluency and social skills. Provide discipline‑specific assessment and intervention to children aged 0‑12 years and their family with a range of disabilities. Key Selection Criteria Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology with current and ongoing registration with Speech Pathology Australia. At least 2 years of discipline‑specific clinical experience, with sound knowledge of paediatric practice for 0‑12 years to support with strategies for developmental delay, autism and other presentations. The ability to meet service delivery targets of 5 hours/day. Knowledge and experience in the prescription of assistive technology. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and meet KPIs. Build trusting working relationships with both children and families in addition to the Early Intervention and Therapy Service team. Openness to continuous quality improvement that allows ongoing learning and growth as part of a high performing team. Proficient in the use of ICT for such things as service delivery (telehealth), case‑note documentation and online learning modules. Willingness to promote and support practices that are inclusive, culturally responsive, safe and accessible. Current Victorian Drivers’ Licence. Willingness to undertake relevant pre‑employment screening and checks – including NDIS worker screening check, Police Check, Pre‑Employment Medical and Working with Children’s check. Right to work in Australia (e.g., Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or visa holder with full working rights). Example – For an annual salary of $89,018 without salary packaging, this is the equivalent and comparative salary in the job market to $96,285 (with $15,900 of salary packaging). Therefore, the fortnightly take‑home pay would increase from $2,681 to $2,871.
