We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Leader Band B-2 - Senior Leader (Student Pathways/Career Education) to join our team. What you will do: Provide leadership and manage school and government (state/federal) initiatives to include clear, articulated pathways, enhance career education and improve student outcomes Provide positive, constructive and supportive leadership in, and effectively manage, all aspects of, Career Education and Vocational Pathways Develop new flexible industry pathways for our students, in collaboration with Senior School/Middle school Assistant Principals, RTO, industry and employers, government agencies and our wider community Manage work placement for students enrolled in mainstream Vet/Industry Pathways Program and support those in senior school looking to participate in Work Experience Oversee the implementation of Career Education 7-12. What you will bring: Proven ability to establish sound and effective relationships and communication with staff, students, parents, external partners and training providers to promote professional dialogue and a collaborative working culture resulting in improved educational outcomes for students A sound understanding of current principles, theories and trends in professional learning, curriculum development, teaching and learning, assessment methodologies and monitoring methods, particularly those related to the implementation of the South Australian Curriculum, SACE and VET in Schools Experience in leading flexible industry pathway curriculum and pedagogical reform including processes to engage community and industry stakeholders to establish pathways for students.
