Overview Join City of Moreton Bay as a Principal Transport Engineer . This is a senior, full-time role focused on providing expert engineering input into transport infrastructure projects to meet community needs, delivering concept designs, briefs, and project coordination for capital works. Base pay range: A$112,000.00/yr – A$150,000.00/yr . What you’ll do Provide expert advice grounded in best-practice transport design, standards, and Council policies. Assist in developing concept designs that respond to real user needs. Prepare and review detailed design briefs to guide internal and external teams. Collaborate across the team, coach and support other teammates, and manage time and stakeholder communications. Review civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards, ensuring value for money for the community. Certify engineering designs as an expert in your field. About you / Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within the first 12 months of employment. Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence . Work environment and benefits Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight; hybrid, flexible working environment with some work-from-home days. Location: Strathpine.
