Senior Cyber Security Engineer Two experienced engineers are required to help take secure identity capability to the next level within a major NSW Government agency. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be part of a high‑performing Cyber Security Services team, designing, implementing, and improving the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. You will translate security requirements into technical solutions, implement automation, and ensure identity services balance usability and protection. You’ll manage pen‑test findings by analysing, assessing, and resolving issues with vendors and risk teams. Your work will span a Microsoft‑heavy environment with AWS and Azure. What You Bring Years of experience in Identity or Security Engineering, building and improving systems. Understanding of IAM, authentication, access controls, privilege management, and tools such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, or Delinea Secret Server. Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, SAML, SCIM, REST APIs, and the ability to implement real‑world solutions. Experience with automation, scripting, or troubleshooting using PowerShell, Python, or Java. Pragmatic, collaborative, and skilled at bridging design to delivery. Bonus Points For Experience in large or complex organisations (government, banking, insurance) Exposure to AWS, Windows, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancers Managing vendor relationships and reviewing pen‑test outcomes Jira or Confluence experience The Next Steps If you have a CV, click apply to be considered.
