Our client is an equipment hire company primarily within the civil and construction industry. They are a solution‑based business that works closely with their clients when it comes to supplying equipment that manages temporary works. This role will require some on the road travel to Bundaberg, Yeppoon and Rockhampton areas. Tasks & responsibilities On the road Sales rep, calling on civil and construction companies Managing existing customer base Adhering to a weekly call/business development plan Keeping the company CRM up to date each day Problem solving with customers on their projects, you will be solution-based selling Assisting the branch in the workshop when required Looking for new opportunities for the product range as well as opportunities to solve further problems within the industry Travel as and when required toBundaberg, Yeppoon and Rockhampton areas Qualifications & experience Previous on the road sales experience more than 2 years exp will be highly regarded Product knowledge is not required; product training will be provided Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and basic Excel is required The successful candidate must have a can-do attitude with the willingness to be a part of a team and is willing to help across all facets of the business Demonstrated new business development exp will enable you to be successful Benefits The opportunity to be a part of growing a business An award‑winning culture focused environment Being part of a strong team, with the support to help you succeed Great package with a fully serviced company car and tools of the trade Salary guide $90 — $110k+super+ car aligned with skills and experience.
