Navantia Australia has been awarded the Designer Support Contract to provide comprehensive design and engineering support to all Navantia-designed ships in service with the Royal Australian Navy. This landmark contract marks a significant milestone for Navantia Australia, as it is the company’s first contract held directly with the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA), underscoring its commitment to innovation and excellence in the maritime industry. Operating under the Design Support Contract (DSC), we are seeking expressions of interest from Intermediate, Senior and Lead Engineers, from all different disciplines to join our teams based in Sydney. These roles are available for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and like-minded engineers on sustaining Navantia designed warships in service with the Royal Australian Navy (including Hobart Class DDGs, Canberra Class LHDs and Supply Class AORs). Disciplines include: Mechanical Engineers Equipment and Outfit Engineers Configuration Offers / Managers Electrical Engineers Combat System Integration Engineers System Safety Engineers As the ideal candidate, you will have : Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience working in the Defence or Maritime industry (desirable).
