About The Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management are seeking experienced FIFO Casual Bus Drivers to join our Village Management Team to provide relief coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides soft services such as Village Management, Catering, Transport, Cleaning and Utility services to a well-known Mining Company situated in the west of North Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the transportation of Residents around the Village, Site and Airport in addition to general grounds / utility maintenance of the Village.

Ad hoc support to the Village Team is occasionally required.

Duties include:

• Transportation of Residents
• Completion of Vehicle Pre-Starts and required Safety Reporting / Compliance
• Maintenance of a Clean and Tidy vehicle
• Village Waste Management
• Grounds / Utility Maintenance
• Assist other departments from time to time, if required

About You

To join our team, you will be an experienced Bus Driver (< 52-Seater) on unsealed roads and and Grounds / Utility Maintenance worker, with a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others, and a passion to provide quality work and service with a smile, at all times:

You will possess:

• Australian Working Rights
• VALID OPEN LR, MR or HR License (PTD desirable )
• Ability to pass a Commercial Drivers Assessment (Fitness to drive Medical Assessment) plus a comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
• Previous experience at a Village preferred
• The following experience / qualifications with Camp Facilities such as First Aid, Certificate III / IV Commercial Cookery or Hospitality, HRWL (LF), RSA / Approved Manager, ARO Certification and Cleaning (desirable)

Additionally, you will also possess the following skills:

• Basic Systems and Technology experience i.e., MS Office, online/web-based Payroll & Training requirements
• Ability to work autonomously and be a self-motivator
• Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace, with excellent customer service skills
• Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others
