We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Daisy Hill Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity. Why work with us? You’ll also enjoy: Salary & Compensation - Discounted Private Health Insurance Work Life Balance - Working Between 6.00am – 9.00am & 2.00pm – 6.00pm Working Environment - Career Coaching and Progression Opportunities What you’ll do Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and supported Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play Create a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow What you’ll bring Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar A great sense of fun, energy and creativity A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain) About YMCA OSHC The YMCA provides Outside School Hours Care services to 60 school communities across South East Queensland.
