Casual Venue Technicians for Live Performances (Lighting & Audio) Venue : The Concourse Performing Arts Centre, Chatswood Salary : $35-43/hr + super (Based on experience) Lighting - Experience using ETC lighting console in theatre or live music Sound - Experience using Allen & Heath audio desks in theatre or live music ABOUT THE ROLE We’re seeking Casual Lighting & Audio Technicians to support our production team across a variety of events. This is a hands‑on technical role with opportunities to operate, program, and design for theatre productions, live music, and other events. You’ll work collaboratively with production teams, artists, and venue staff to ensure smooth, professional, and visually exciting outcomes for every show. ABOUT CENTURY VENUES The Century Group is a live entertainment producer, festival presenter and the operator of a suite of venues that includes the Enmore Theatre, Metro Theatre, the Factory Theatre complex, the Sydney Comedy Store and The Concourse Performing Arts Centre Chatswood. With a rich history of producing concerts, theatre shows, comedy festivals, and more, we pride ourselves on creating unforgettable experiences for audiences. We are seeking skilled and passionate Technicians to join our dynamic team and help bring our productions to life. ABOUT THE VENUE The Concourse is a state‑of‑the‑art hub for culture, entertainment, information, retail, food and beverage, opened in Chatswood in September 2011. Century Venues operate as the Managers of The Concourse, responsible for the Concert Hall, the Theatre and The Lounge. DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE Competent Testing and tagging (AS/NZS 3760) Construction Industry Induction (white Card) Competent in safe operation of EWP’s (Vertical Lift) Experience with I.T. infrastructure, switching, and network management.
