MB Hoopers Engineering is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Welder to join our busy fabrication workshop in Gympie, QLD. If you’re a skilled professional with a strong background in heavy fabrication, particularly with Earthmoving and Agricultural equipment, we want to hear from you About the Role This is a permanent, full-time position working on projects critical to the local farming and civil industries. You will be responsible for the fabrication of brand new heavy machinery components – no repair work Key Responsibilities Fabricate, weld, and assemble new components for earthmoving and farming equipment. Perform high-quality MIG and some minor STICK welding on heavy-gauge steel. Operate workshop machinery such as our 400-600 tonne hydraulic presses, magnetic drill, grinders and oxy‑cutting equipment. Maintain a high standard of safety and workshop cleanliness. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in heavy fabrication and welding. Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
